This is an independent operation run by Andy Tibbs, not a registered company or storefront. Applicable Arizona requirements for secondhand goods dealers are being reviewed and addressed as the business grows.
The only official contact points for this business are this website (sell-your-phone.com), the email address andytibbsbusinessonly@gmail.com, and the Facebook page facebook.com/andytibbstech. We will never ask you to pay a fee, send a gift card, or share a password or verification code, before, during, or after a transaction. If someone contacts you claiming to be this business through any other channel, it is not us, do not send money, passwords, or verification codes to them.
Every price shown on this site, whether a range or an exact number, is an estimate calculated in your browser based on what you tell us about your device. Nothing is final until we've verified the phone by photo, video, and IMEI check after it arrives. If the phone doesn't match what was described, we'll send a revised offer before anything ships. You're never obligated to accept a revised offer or to send your phone in the first place. Screenshots of a quote are not treated as a guaranteed price, since displayed numbers can be edited in a browser; the number confirmed directly with you after verification is the one that's honored.
We currently buy iPhone 11 through iPhone 15 models only, including mini, Plus, Pro, and Pro Max variants. Newer models are not yet supported.
We do not purchase phones that are iCloud locked, reported lost or stolen, or still being paid off through a carrier or Apple financing plan. Submitting a device that falls into one of these categories may result in the offer being withdrawn.
Before sending your phone, please: back up anything you want to keep, sign out of iCloud, turn off Find My iPhone, erase the device (Settings → General → Transfer or Reset iPhone → Erase All Content and Settings), and remove your physical SIM card or deactivate your eSIM. We will never ask for your Apple ID password, device passcode, or any verification code, do not send these to us or include them with your shipment under any circumstances.
If your quote is accepted, we'll provide a prepaid, insured shipping label. You're responsible for packing the device following the instructions provided; photographing the device and packaging before sealing the box is strongly recommended in case an insurance claim is needed. Carrier insurance claims for lost or damaged shipments are subject to the carrier's coverage limits and claim timing, which can take one to a few weeks to resolve, and generally require proof of the item's condition before shipping. We are not responsible for damage caused by improper packing. If, after inspection, we send a revised offer and you decide not to proceed, you're responsible for the cost of a return shipping label to get your device back.
Payment is sent after the device arrives and is confirmed to match what was verified during the quote process, typically within 24 hours of the device arriving. Payment is currently made via PayPal or Venmo. Payment method and timing will be confirmed directly with you by email or Facebook Messenger.
When you request a quote, we may collect the device details you provide, photos or video of the device, and your contact information (email or Facebook account) so we can reach you about your quote. We do not collect payment information through this site.
Your information is used only to evaluate your device, communicate with you about your quote, and complete the transaction if you choose to proceed. We do not sell your information. This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your browser's IP address as part of that request. If you choose to email or message us, that communication passes through Google (Gmail) or Meta (Facebook Messenger), and is subject to their own privacy policies. Payment, if a deal proceeds, is handled through PayPal or Venmo directly, not through this site.
Purchases made through this business may be featured on the associated YouTube channel. We do not show your full name, address, exact IMEI or serial number, or shipping label on camera. Device condition, general transaction outcome, and price paid may be shown. If you'd rather your specific deal not be featured, let us know when you submit your quote.
